Dr. Mark Pullinger

Knowledge Exchange Fellow

Dr. Mark Pullinger is a Knowledge Exchange Fellow in the School of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford. A chemist by training, Mark’s role is to support the dissemination and exploitation of research results from the academic to the non-academic sector.  With over twenty years’ research support experience, he has previously co-ordinated multiple large EU-funded research grants on a range of diverse topics, including nutrition for an ageing population; sustainable packaging; monitoring and prevention of infections from paralytic shellfish toxins; and the development of novel heart-valve replacements from non-human cells.
