Knowledge Exchange Fellow and Lecturer in Nineteenth-Century and World Literatures in the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technologies

Dr Emma Barnes is a Knowledge Exchange Fellow and Lecturer in Nineteenth-Century and World Literatures in the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technologies at the University of Salford. Emma’s research interests are in Indigenous Women’s Writing and Emma is currently Principle Investigator on the research project ‘Storying the Land: Contemporary Haudenosaunee Orature in the On-the-Land Learning’, which is a collaboration between the University of Salford and grassroots organisation Kahnekanoron.
